HELP! LP / CO detector

We have a 2011 Forest River Forester-32 ft Class C & love it. But, we have one problem... The LP / CO detector keeps going off. We've followed all troubleshooting instructions from manual. Has anyone had this same problem?

The LP detector and the CO detector are 2 entirely different things. The LP detector usually mounted near the floor in the kitchen areak, while the CO detector should be mounted high on a wall near the bedroom area.

The unit in my 2104 Mini Lite is a combination CO2~propane alarm. It's a Safe T Alert Dual Sensor Model 35-742. We primarily boondock, so I pull the fuse on it during the day to save the batteries, and energise it when we're sleeping. We haven't had any problems with false alarms so far. Do you have a dog, because flatulence can energise the alarm.

Correct, any foul gas can set it off. A dog or a person can cause it!

In 2011 Forester it is more than likely a combo unit mounted near the step well. I have heard of bad ones.

When that happens it is time to replace it. There is no such thing as repair.

I sent mine to the company today. The LP was going off even with the propane turned off. I just call them and they gave me a return number. I marked it to see if the send the same one back or a new one. LOL

Regarding an update on the LP / CO detector that kept going off since August on our 2011 Forest River Forester-32 ft Class C Motorhome... After making several phone calls, we took it in to have it replaced with a new one in September. Went out on a trip in November, by the 3rd day... detector was going off again. It's in the shop once again, trying to figure out what is making the detector go off.
Any other clues out there?

Got a dog traveling with you? Yes, they can set it off especially if sleeping near it. Hair spray, deodorant, most anything in an aerosol can will set it off. If it comes on and stays on, check these. If t starts chirping, on, then off, then on and off, it is low voltage. Are you smoking weed or burning scented candles? It detects more than propane,

I ended up put a switch on mine when it came back from manufacture. Mine would only go off when camper was Parker for long periods of time.
