We just fold the mirrors in when parked. Easy fix.

Our first rain storm . . . found the roof dripping on the door window switches. Added 6" clear plastic tube and now water flows outside of the door area. We picked a 2015 Forester 2011DS. Have had a pop-up, bumper pull, 5th wheel and then a 40' class A motorhome. We are very happy with our 32' Class C. Plenty of sleeping room, great appliances, comfortable ride, great towing for our dingy. The V10 could have had a bit more power going up mountain passes, but no regrets . . .

We ordered a 2016 Forester 22' Class C last fall at an RV show. We looked at the Sunseeker, but it wasn't as nice inside with the finishes. The U shaped dinette is on the slide, which we liked because we bring 2 or 3 of our fur babies with us and the extra floor space is key. The dinette table was too high so we cut about 2 inches off the cast aluminum pole. It's the only place to sit and relax inside, so generally we put the tabletop and pole in the nose area above the driver cab, and use an ottoman from our house in that space to stretch our legs out on to watch TV, read etc. I bought feather filled throw pillows which squish to sit against to make the back cushions more comfortable. I do not like the bed wedged between 3 walls though. I realize it's a short 22' vehicle with only so much space, but it's not easy shimmying onto and out of that bed. Actually, making the bed, changing fitted sheets, etc. is the most inconvenient. However, aside from the Jensen nav stereo system cutting out all he time, I love our motorhome. I am looking forward to lots more beach camping. Click image for larger version

I think our Solera has a similar floorplan. My wife hated the "claustrophobic" feeling the bed gave her - we solved by removing the bathroom door, cutting the wall along the bed back to the shower "pillar", and adding shower curtains replacing the removed door and wall section. Has worked well for us - eases access and eliminated my wife's "claustrophobic" feeling.
