I picked up our First RV today!!!!

We finally found our unit and picked it up today. We bought a 2005 Forest River Forester. I got home in time that my wife and I got to eat supper in it camped out in our drive way. We can't wait for our first trip.

Congratulations. You should get many years of enjoyment. Joining this forum will be very helpful for you.

One suggestion: Check your tires. There is a recall of Michelins. They have details on their web site. If yours falls within the recall group, they will replace them for free. Don't forget the spare tire.

Congratulations...I hope it will bring you many years of happy camping. I'm a newbie myself and I completely understand your excitement. I hope it lasts for quite some time to come...

Cheers,

Congratulations! Know what you mean about 'camping in your driveway.' We've done it! There's something to be said about closing the door and realizing you really do have a home away from home! Did you by chance get it at Fourwinds in Maroa?

You took the bait. No one here on this forum has a RV. We just use pictures we find on the net and make up post for others to read. We never really thought some one would actually buy one.....

Humm.... unless you did not buy one and are using reverse logic to fool us. To prove your statement I think we all deserve a picture of the alleged unit with a note from you telling us it is yours.... But wait that's what we are doing....

You are a crafty one aren't you... There is only one sure way to tell, a pop quiz... So here it is - who decides what goes where in the coach the DH or DW?

Congrats on your coach as you correctly picked DW, which is always the right answer...

So now we need the pics.... And a few mod ideas....

Good question. If it's a 2015, please ignore my comment on Michelin tires!

Thanks everyone. We'd like to take it to visit our son over Thanksgiving but we just don't have enough time off, so it may have to wait until the Spring

Oh, yes its a 2005 and the tires were changed a couple of months ago and they are not Michelin tires.

No, I looked there but all they had was a small one with a cab over bed and kitchen in the back. We found this one in Madison, Wis. 2005 Forester 2861.
