If it ever warms up, our ice maker may have a problem keeping up. As of right now, it's doing just fine. As for making ice the old fashioned way, it takes up way too much room in the freezer and we wouldn't be able to make enough to get us through a night around the fire.

Ours is the domestic and travels on the floor beside the bed under the wardrobe slide. Normally it sits on the stove cover or a table under the awning by the power plug. It's 85-90 here right now and making lots of ice.

Ours is called Sandy, DW, we have 3 ice cube trays and she makes it every morning. Dumps the 3 trays in a zip lock bag and fills up the trays - real cheap, but it works!!

Ice makers

Ok, now I'm curious about everyone's opinion on ice makers.
What's the best according to your experiences?
Looking into these ideas for our upcoming camper (August)
