Used one for going on 7 yrs attached to the side of 2 trailers and under both awnings and have never had any problems whatsoever with splattering, side getting even warm or the awning discoloring.

Propane Adapter

suscamper, This what I am planning on installing from Amazon:
Robot Check

This way I can hook up a WeberQ before the RV regulator or use a screw on bottle if I prefer. Comes with 12' of quick connect hose to connect to the grill. Also comes with a hose that allows you to attach a 20# lp tank to the coach if you run out and don't want to break camp. There are videos on you tube showing how to hook it up. Price is $62.94
