How long does it stay on before it turns off? Maybe the sleep timer is set for that length of time. Sleep Timer Allows you to set up the sleep timer : 5min, 10min, 15min, 30min, 45min, 60min, 90min, 120min, 180min, 240min and off.

1. Press the POWER button to turn the LED TV on.

2. Press the MENU button on the remote control to display the Main menu, and use the LEFT and RIGHT buttons to select the TIMER.

3. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to highlight an individual TIMER option, use the LEFT and RIGHT buttons to change the setting, and press the MENU or EXIT button to exit.

OUCH,, I was hoping it was in your Timer Setting... Sometime it's faster and easier to contact the Manufacture https://www.contacthelp.com/Jensen/customer-service..

Yep red light will go off/on when jiggled. It does seem awful loose. I ordered a new power supply cord, hope that helps. Is the cord the plug you replaced? Thanks for input

I replaced my 12 volt power adapter because it melted! Ordered the Jensen 12 volt to 110 volt power supply. This works fine and I do not worry about a fire anymore. BTW...I just met another Forester owner who's 12 volt power adapter for his 32" Jensen TV also melted.

Glad mine was just a bad cord end yours must be overheating for some reason you would think the fuse would have blown if the wire got that hot

What happens is the little button on the end will loose spring tension causing the button to heat up. It will slowly melt itself to a condition that the button will not make contact. My 32" TV is on its second one. If it melts #3, I may hard wire it in.
