Keeping the outside door open?

How does everyone secure the outside door so you can use the screen door? Our door only opens 90 degrees because of the awning. The amount of force on the door in the wind makes me wonder if the latches with the bend in them would be pulled out?

I do, all the time, when the weather is nice. My doors have friction hinges, so it's easy!

My 2016 3011 door only opens 90 degrees as well. On days when the wind is high and try's to blow the door shut I use a rubber tarp strap attaching one side to the inside door handle and the other end to the pin of the bottom awning mount. So far that seems to pretty well.
