Kwikee Steps Issue

17 Forest Rvr Forester, 2 steps kwikee steps worked with no issues for about 15 trips over a couple years, recently house batteries went dead and ever since the steps will not deploy. Cleaned battery cables, still nothing. Heard that there were certain fuses but other than looking at fuses under oven, and even fuses under driver seat no sight of other fuses. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

On our Solera, there is a box covered with a black metal plate held on with two thumb screws on the left side of the steps. Says something like “do not open without disconnecting batteries”. Some breakers/fuses in there, I believe.
Also, I believe there are several inline fuses - have to search those out starting at the battery terminals looking for wires separate from the main terminal wires or tracing back from the steps. The steps are still powered when the disconnect switch is turned off, so must be wired separately.
