Leak from WHERE???

Day 3 of pouring rain, but the first time since buying our used 2008 Forester in April that we have unwanted water. The carpet between the dinette and bathroom is really wet and we have no idea where it is coming from. We have, since April, had heavier rain with wind, but never any leaks.

Slide?

Is the wet area near it?

Is it fully deployed?

Are the seals intact?

Slide topper?

Lesson learned!!! We left our site to have new tires put on. When we returned, I said, "I'm not fooling with those leveling blocks since we are leaving in 3 days". Well, the lack of leveling caused the rain to follow gravity and come on in. I will ALWAYS level from now on.

What path did the water follow being unlevel?

With the exception of water following the slide rails on a Schwintek slide system, I've not heard of water intrusion from being slightly out of level.
