Long trip

Just completed a 2000 mile round trip in 16 days. First long trip in our Forester and am happy to say that we had a great trip. Everything worked great. Trip was without issues except for the gas mileage (huh). So glad we bought the Forester.

Very cool!

I know there are plenty of happy F.R.O.G.'s out there, but it's always nice to hear the good reports in the midst of rigs with issues. The question now is where ya headin next?!

Always good to hear some positive news, regarding the Forester. Can't wait till we get ours home from the dealer and start enjoying it.

I have a 2015 3051S Ford with the V-10 engine, 4500 miles. I was pulling a two horse trailer with one horse. On level ground I made 8.1 mpg going about 60 miles per hour. When we hit the hills and the mountains mileage dropped to around 7 to 7.5. I thought that was fairly decent for the mountains, pulling a trailer and running dash air. Other than mileage the trip was awesome. Very comfortable while traveling and when at the campground. This is our first motorhome, but we are very satisfied with the Forester. Everyone was impressed with the large slide.

5hfarms - you showing? Or went horse camping? Did both but love horse camping - try Gettysburg, great ride across the battlefields.

My grandson was representing the state of Louisiana at the National Jr High School Rodeo Finals in Des Moines Iowa. He is a calf roper. That's what us grand parents do, haul them around.
