making 2017 3051S more comfortable
Dinette - I could sit for hours in the dinette seat in my old rv. While I can't pinpoint the exact issues, this one just isn't as comfortable for me. I am short, especially from knee to foot, and I know this is part of the issue. But my tall husband never complained about the old one. I have placed Good Sam big book on floor as foot rest to raise my legs up and that helped but not enough. The seat thickness, depth (distance from front to back of the seat cushion) back angle, maybe cushion fill material all seem to contribute to discomfort. Wondering if anyone has tackled anything in this area.
Jackknife sofa. Isn't as comfy to sleep on as we are used to. Biggest issue seems to be the seat portion is up higher than the converted back portion and we haven't figured out how to adjust for that.
Overcab bed. We love that this allows more headroom than our old one. However, the bed is pretty hard. I would prefer not to add a topper that is in the way (or I have to figure out how to store it) when you aren't sleeping on it. We are thinking of replacing the foam in the bedding for something more comfortable. Has anyone done this?
