Mystery switch on 3051S
My 3051S has an on/off switch on the right panel as you enter the coach. It's right next to the Fantastic Fan control (for the living area). The switch isn't labeled, and doesn't do anything that i can tell. It's exactly like the other on/off switches in the rest of the coach. The dealer was no help. I've attached a picture.
Anybody knows what this switch does/is supposed to do?
thank you!

Looks just like our 3171. It is the on off switch for the outside speakers when running the dash radio.

We have an outside TV with a stereo/DVD combo and speakers. So we don't have separate outside speakers for the dash unit.

I have outside TV and radio also. But I also have the outside speakers. The switch controls those speakers

Interesting. I have that switch too on my Forester MBS 2401W and I didn't think I had any outside speakers. Will have to check when it comes back from the RV repair place.

As I said in post #6, It's just like the switch on our 3171. It is the on off switch for the outside speakers when running the dash radio.

Brian...why are there so many un-labeled mystery switches, buttons, and other loose items in a new MH? It seems like it would be not too expensive for FR to label these mystery items or include a little sheet of paper that describes what they are and what they are used for. Example the slide-out lock bars that are just tossed in a new unit. Seems like it would sure cut out a lot of customer confusion and questions....

Amen to that. No real manual and every man for himself with your new $80,000 purchase. It's nuts and Forest River needs to act more professional about this stuff.

I have the same switch in our 2700DS, Finally figured out what it's for after spending 45 minutes going through the menus in the radio trying to figure how to shut off the outside speakers.
Except for a few sections like the one that explains how to weigh your motorhome, and how to sanitize the water system the owners manual is worthless. Some of the photos look like they are for a MH on a 1978 Dodge chassis.
