A good time, some new friends, and maybe even a few good stories to tell around the campfire.

I'll bet serious money it won't be your last!

Thanks Tim .. does Forest River put on the event ? I read some were that they will work on your RV for free if you need something done to it. Also has anyone been to this campground before.

The only event that I know of where they do work on the units is the big International Rally in Goshen Indiana.

I think the only rally that FROG actually "puts on" is the International. The rest are Hosted by members who do all the actual organizing. FROG will help out with sponsorship sometimes, paying for a dinner or other things like that, but the overall vibe is FROG is for the owners, and Forest River pretty much keep themselves to a supporting role. Also, keep in mind that the Forums (FRF) are a separate entity from FROG or Forest River. They work closely together, but FR or FROG has no say in the operation of the forums.

Tim

Actually at BamaGaza last Oct. they had a local dealer doing some minor repairs on FR unit at no cost. Not sure if that will happen again this year, but we will be there!

Local rallies like VA, TN, GA etc are member organized and run. FROG will support the rally and sponsor a meal etc but the rally itself is actually organized and run by a FROG member who is willing to donate their time to organize and plan it. Repairs are not typically done at these rallies.

I organized the NC Mayberry rally last summer. I brought a dealership in to show off new units and sell supplies. We were able to hook some members up with a mobile Rv repair unit when their AC quit working but it wasn't a factory supplied service or even a planned service.

Most rallies have organized activities (i.e. Potluck or something) and suggested things to do in the area. The rallies are all about meeting other FROG members and having a great time with good food and good friends (new and old). We have been FROG members since 2014. We have been to Goshen for the international rally and we have organized the one las stunner. We are now attending 2 rallies this summer. Lots of friends made that we keep in contact with.

The Goshen factory rally is the big daddy organized by FROg in conjunction with Forest river to have lots of seminars, vendors etc. there are repairs to units (even if out of warranty) but there are rules about the repairs done. ie a limit on number and type of repairs they will do.

I'd love to attend a rally in NC as well -- just bought my new trailer this past week and am up to meeting new FROG members, too. Where was the rally last summer?

Yes Indeedy, the Bankston Motorhome Mobile Repair unit will be on site Friday & Saturday providing complimentary minor repairs again this year.

There will also be repair and "know your RV" seminars hosted by RV Repair techs and Forest River Corporate.

Jump on the FROG site. Under EVENTS are two lists. One for FROG coordinated events, and another for member operated events. Look through both, it will give you all the info in one easy location.

WELCOME to FROG,
I think Bob condensed them down to one list to avoid confusion, not too long ago

My first F. R O. G. Event... going to get my fishing poles ready. The one I wanted to go was in Amish county in Ohio. Both are close. Safe travels all.

As far as I know, you need to be a member of the Forest River Owners Group to attend FROG rallies.
