New Bathroom Faucet 3011

During a recent 3+ week camping trip my DW complained the faucet in the bathroom did not stick out far enough from the edge of the sink and was contributing to water splashing on the counter. I also noticed the water pressure/volume at this location has always been fairly low but was not a big deal to me.

I ordered this from Amazon and finally got a few minutes to install it this morning. Easy swap that took very little time to do. Water volume seems to be better as well. The hardware packet that came with it was not needed. Note, the hot water handle does touch the wall but there is at least 3/4" that it can be pulled toward the sink and still stays off. I installed a small piece of felt just to keep it from touching.

Replacing the bathroom faucet on our 3011 is somewhere down on the to-do list for us as well. Although that is probably a 2017 project and if I can find one, a faucet with a single lever on the right side might be the best option.

They should just hook right up, threads are the same. Though on mine I cut them back and put on shut offs and braided hoses. But I'm weird like that.

Looks nice. Word of caution that I learned the hard way, that counter wall nearest the door has an open top and when that last thread lets go on the retaining nut and you hear it fall, but can't find it...... .... it's down inside the wall. Yep, and it's plastic so your magnet on a stick doesn't help.

Gee,wonder how you know?

So far, DW hasn't complained about the bathroom faucet. Now, the kitchen faucet is another story!

Nice upgrade! We bought the taller bathroom faucet at Lowe's home improvements ($49), very easy to install and room to wash your hands now!
