New to Motorhome World and towing

John and I recently purchased a Sunseeker and have done some research. Getting mixed answers as to whether we can tow our Prius behind the home. Anyone towing theirs behind their home and what are you using?

We asked and they said no. Just completely off Road. But we have seen some being towed and doing research there has been some saying you can tow with front wheels up. This is why we are reaching out.

Welcome to the Forest River Forums. Don't know very much about towing a Prius, so not much help, but did want to at least say hello.

We have a Sunseeker and dolly tow a Toyota Avalon. I know it is a different animal, but hope you get some good feedback here on the forum.

Again, welcome.

BTW, we are practically neighbors!

Happy travels...

Yes, you can tow a Prius with front wheels on a dolly. We did it.

You can dolly tow pretty much any front wheel drive vehicle on a tow dolly. I on occasion tow a 1984 Dodge 600ES Turbo Convertible on a Stehl tow dolly. The Stehl is reasonably priced. Can be purchased with either electric or surge brakes. It is a turntable style like U-haul rents.
