New wheel finish.

So I decided to dump the stainless simulators and paint the wheels black, add factory center caps and aftermarket chrome wheel rings.
I like the look now with the white/black/silver color scheme of the 2016.
And- easy to check and add air pressure.
The whole job cost me about $90.
Rustoleum semi gloss used.

Here they are in white before I painted them. Actually looks good also.
I wanted to match my trailer wheels with the same black/silver look.

Looks really good. Been trying to do the same on my Ford based Lexi. Already have the trim rings on, but have had no success in finding rear duel covers for the rear axle hub. Hard to find for a Ford.

Thanks for the props.
It was a crap shoot since I could not find any photos of them done anywhere.
Came out pretty good I think.

It's a bowtie- why not?
Kinda what I was going for.
The old school look. Thought about silver wheels like the old Chevies but settled on black.

Total Loss, I like the wheels! And I especially like your lawn, we've done part of ours in Palm Springs Gold. You know, native plants well native rock! It's getting to look a lot like Arizona around here.

Total Loss, just kidding about the rock. Back to the wheels, I haven't seen anything looking that good on Fords.

I did half the front with Palm Springs gold (inc the parkways)
I still have the main lawn (grass) in front- entry side of the house.
My Az house is all rock.

Not sure why you call it an Arizona house...I live on an acre with grass and trees in Phoenix and it's irrigated.

Your wheels look good

I like the white also. I was toying with leaving them since the finish was good but it would not match my trailer. They are done the same.
