Newbie OnBoard

Hi Everyone,
Wife and I started with tents 25 yrs ago to two popups then a travel trailer and just bought a 2017 Forester 3171dsf and we are jacked out of our minds and cant wait to hit the road.
We live in taxa, i mean Massachusetts, Dedham, near Norwood and are looking for a place to have the state inspection done. Been looking around but most of the bays are too small. Went to the RMV website but that pointed out some places with the right inspection "Class" license but the places I checked cant pull it inside Anyone have any suggestions?

+Thanks

Shaun

Won't the dealer you're buying from do the first inspection? Surely any RVer in your area or any RV dealer could clear this up for you in no time.

I've found a Jiffylube type place near me that does mine. It fits about halfway in their bay and they can even do oil changes. When finished they back it back out of the bay.

But the Texas inspection in my area doesn't include smog testing.

Thx for the response. Dealer did not know of any close to me so I thought I might get lucky if a local saw my post. I will look around nearby some more. Shouldn't be too hard to find.

I'd double check the RMV inspection station list maybe go up a class/weight. There were several out my way within 2-3 miles of home . You might also try Ford motor home help line. They were very helpful in finding a service center for the computer recall this spring

Yes... Welcome also congratulations on your new 2017 Forester DSF. Any place that does inspections should steer you in the right directions. I live in Ohio no inspections here... I don't now if that's a good thing or bad. Safe travels.[emoji591]
