Good article on pre-trip planning:

RV Travel - Ore-trip RV Check List | RV Retirement Travel

A pre-launch checklist that I adapted from the long-standing Woodall's checklist. I re-ordered everything so you don't have to keep running inside then outside, and don't unplug the electricity before you complete tasks needing electricity, etc. Always follow a checklist religiously and you will avoid many, many mistakes - such as leaving a cupboard door open and having dishes crash down, leaving a hose or wire behind, etc. etc. Setting up tends to be easier because you know you have to set the RV, level it if needed, plug in electricity, connect water, etc. However you can work the take-off list backwards, and there are good "set up camp" checklists available on line too.

OK - PDF file will be in the next post!

Thanks so much. We're a few days delayed waiting on the retirement funds 😡 but the day will arrive soon enough!

Well we picked up the 3051 on Friday and have camped in the driveway the last 3 nights. Going well despite some learning curves (you can see my frantic posts on here . ) Enjoying it very much. Heading out this weeknd for a state park in PA. Looking forward to it. Thanks for a great forum and all the help!
