No Signal on left turn, side camera issue

Bought 1 day ago and already an issue. All cameras worked yesterday. This morning, driver side camera showed "NO SIGNAL", rear and passenger side cameras were fine. It's an RVS-770619N and manual says to do a hard re-set by removing all cables from multiplexer for 1 minute. Where is the multiplexer? Looked under dash both sides, under seat and under hood. Can't find it anywhere..Found it is not uncommon for the cables to come loose. Don't want to take it in the dealer for a simple fix.
This is what it looks like the silver box in the picture.

You've got me there! I suspect it is under the dash under the driver's side. I have found a bunch of video cables running under mine and a box that looks similar to yours...

Good luck,
Frank

Thumbs up Problem solved

Call my salesman who talked with his tech and he call FR and they are trying to find out where it is. Seems they put it in different spots. But this morning, it was working. Seems if I just shut off the battery disconnect, it does the same thing. I had done that last night. And by magic, it was working this morning. So if the problem arises again, it can be reset by turning off the battery disconnect for a few minutes and on again. No need to take it to the dealer. The tech said they will get an answer as to where the multiplexer is on my MH for future reference.
problem solved!!!

Still not working this morning. Found multiplexer under dash by pulling out panel under steering wheel. Pulled all wires and cable and did the hard reset. Still no signal driver side camera. Now will check at camera later today. Thanks Joshua

This afternoon, it wasn't working. I played with connections under the dash and did a reset. Then it came on!! Shut off the engine and checked it tonight and it doesn't work again.
Guess it's now a dealer issue under warranty!

Well, the driver's side camera was working up until yesterday. Now, "NO SIGNAL" again. The dealer won't do anything until I bring it in 2 week from now. Maybe it will still be out!

Had a swam of shower pass on thru in the past 1/2 hour. Went out and tried my left turn signal again and got the "NO SIGNAL" display after the mirror got drenched, the "NO SIGNAL" disappeared and I had a black screen. I googled back and forth a few time from right side to rear view camera. All of a sudden, the driver's side camera began working as rain water inundated the mirror. Anyway, it's working for the moment and will check it later or tomorrow.

Follow the cable from the display to the multiplexer. The cable is about 4 ft long.

FlyBob, I check and rechecked and switch cables around on the multiplexer and all work in different ports except that one. Checked all of the visible wire connections under there dash while observing the monitor. No change. I think it's the trigger. Does it work off the turn signal relay, perhaps? Checked all my Led's and run signal lights and they are OK. May remove the camera housing and check for voltage to the camera for starters. All video cables are tight.

Went outside and checked, "NO SIGNAL" is back. Guess it needs to be rained on for it to work sometimes!

working again for the moment

Ok, today I disconnected the engine battery cables to put on the BatteryMinder wiring harness. This rebooted/reset the multiplexer and of course the driver's side camera is working for the moment. I did notice earlier today when I was moving the MH around for the gardener that the "NO SIGNAL" blue screen went to all black with AV1 in the upper right corner. That's something new!

Switch driver and passenger camera position using cable where plug into mixer. The intent is to isolate the problem If the problem does not follow the the switch then it is the monitor otherwise it is the camera or mixer. Next switch back camera for side camera connection at the mixer. At this point you will know if the problem is the mixer or camera. This will help the repair shop as intermittent are an SOB to find.

I did that the first day when I found the multiplexer. Problem is in the camera or cable from the camera to the multiplexer. I did check the cable in the mirror arm and in area around multiplexer and driver's kick panel for possible cable issues. Since the monitor shows no signal when the turn signal is on, I assume the trigger is working. I am going to call the dealer today and see about warranty repair and how much is the silly little camera. Easy to change out.

Not working this morning, working in afternoon, now not!

Crazy, camera not working this morning. Later this afternoon I tried some new ignition keys and it was working. Went out after dinner and it's bucket not working, "NO SIGNAL".
Haven't spoken with the salesman or service manager yet. They were both busy and I didn't leave a message. Tomorrow!

We had issues with our cameras only working sporadically on our 3011DS. We would lose the side views off and on. Then, we lost the rear feed completely. Took it to our repair guy and he found the main cable to the camera display (which is mounted to our windshield on a separate display screen) was abraded and cut. I've attached a picture but I'm not sure if it will display or not. The cable runs under the dash area right behind our parking brake. Each time we set the parking brake, it would cut it a bit more. Finally, it cut the rear feed wire completely. This all started after owning the RV about 7-8 months since new. It was no longer under warranty so we paid to have it repaired. The cable is hard wired into the display unit so we replaced the cable and display screen. The display and cable unit was $275 plus two hours labor. Works great now!

Now I can get the driver's side camera to work, but onlyt after starting the engine multiple times, turning the device on and off plus using the turn signals a few times. Wonder if that camera has to warm up first?
