Last time I had outside speakers up near the top of the awning I had a abc switch but it played off the inside radio or DVDs but you could switch to outside or inside or both but my Sunseeker has radio DVD player outside for outside and inside for inside but of course you have no surround sound for outside

The switch that cuts off the upper outdoor speakers is a DPST switch and I havent explorer what each tab does yet. May be able to reroute from there.

So you have 2 water prof and 2 on either side of tv looks like they would be tied together and work with outside ent.

But they are not connected, yet!
The outdoor radio's fader only has audio to the rear which is actually the two speakers on either side of the radio. Moving the fader to the middle and on to fronts cuts all audio. When I tied up all the loose rats nest of wiring behind the outdoor radio from under the sofa, I could see wiring for those speakers. LR and RR were wired and the LF and RF were cut leaving only and inch of exposed wires. Very thin wiring maybe 22 awg or thinner.

I may try running speaker wires from the LF and RF of the outdoor radio and attach them to the outgoing speaker wires on the DPDT switch in the entry way.
Other option is to follow the wiring from the driver's side step well over to the passenger side and make my cut there where it 's only 2 feet to the back of the radio.
Other concern is the watts of the speakers. The volume is very low at almost full volume level from the dash radio. Those outdoor speakers could be 180 watt or more and the dash radio can't produce enough output, hence the low volume.

I was hoping there were outdoor speaker wires in the mess under the sofa. Before and after wrapping.
Ah. you know the sub-woofer wiring (black coiled mess in top photo) comes from the same spot as the O/D speaker wires (dash radio), perhaps I can follow it backwards 2 feet and find them????

Good news!

Tried to trace the sub-woofer wiring back a few feet where it branches off the rest of the wiring. Unfortunately, it goes to the wall and drops down into the sub-floor with a glob of foam insulation. So that route is no longer an option.
Then I tried unscrewing the switch for the outdoor speakers and ran some tests. Found tabs that will give me audio on an old computer speaker.
Next, I then found the 4 clipped speaker wires on the back of the outdoor radio and spliced the speaker into them. I had to set the fader to front and it works! Then I switched from center to right and left to see which it was(right). Finally, I ran speaker wire from the outdoor radio right to the outdoor speaker right at the switch and it works and it's plenty loud!
So I will have to get some good speaker wire and figure out an inconspicuous route up to the switch. Yeah! I will have outdoor speakers playing from the outdoor radio and TV (when on DVD).
Disclaimer- I am not recommending anyone try this. Do at your own risk!!!

Update: Although it's working loud and clear, when I tried the dash radio it didn't have any audio in the front when I moved the equalizer to it. So I have to re-examine the switch wiring and maybe I will add another switch so I can toggle between inside dash use of the outdoor speakers and the outdoor radio using them.
Anybody able to follow this?

Finished rewiring today. All done!
The outdoor upper speakers control has been moved from the dash radio to the outdoor entertainment center radio under the TV. Much louder than the dash radio output. Outdoor radio's fader to the REAR still controls the small radio speakers and FRONT controls the upper outdoor speakers.

Ben, it was a challenge. I should have kept tabs of which wire goes where. I have photos of before, but did so much testing I lost track of where I placed a few wires. Do you have any mechanical background? Where is your speaker switch mounted?
Merry Christmas

Perhaps, it's a good idea to wait until the warranty expires before attempting any modification like this.

Good idea. Not important right now anyway. 15 degrees outside with 6 inches of snow in the yard. Looks like it could be a long winter this year for us.
