Really any pancake-type air compressor will work, I prefer Porter-Cable for most of my tools and for the quality, it's not that much more: Shop PORTER-CABLE 0.8-HP 6-Gallon 150-PSI 120-Volt Pancake Electric Air Compressor at Lowes.com

Yes these are pricey and only work for the air bags. I guess you would have to be a Class C driver to appreciate the ability to adjust the air bags while driving.

X2 vwexpert . I have the Air Lift / Firestone air bag system that I can monitor in the cab and adjust as needed. Improves my handling and ride a lot. I also carry a 120v Porter cable hooked up to the dyson outlet in the back for tires, tools and such. Wouldnt be without both

What's this Dyson hookup you speak of? Where is it located? No vacuum in my 2015 3051. Was this an option?

I've heard good things about this one but I don't have one.

I've also heard good things about VIAIR, however, I bought one of their digital tire pressure gauges (Model 90052) for $30 and it only lasted about 6 months so I'm very hesitant to spend over CDN$300 for one of their portable compressors.

Not a big deal. Did I overlook a 110v outlet in a storage bay? Now I need to go dig when I get home!

mine must be an early 15 so it must predate this option. no outlet back there either. Time to trade it in.
