Pre-wired for Rear Vent Fan?

I have a 2011 3011DS. There is a vent over the queen bed in the back. I was wondering:
1. Did FR prewire this vent for future installation of a fan?
2. If I install a fan with a remote control feature, would this be a constant drain on the battery? We dry camp a lot and I am very conscious of battery drains.

I can't say for sure for a 2011, but I can tell you that my 2015 3010DS is pre-wired for all vent openings.

I installed a remote-controlled fantastic fan in one of my openings this spring. The remote feature would be no more of a battery drain than any other type. The remote uses it's own batteries. I suppose that technically it would take a little more battery to automatically open the cover but it can't be too much. If you lookup the specs from fantastic fan, they'll tell you what it will draw on each speed.

Pre-wired for Rear Vent Fan?

My 2008 Sunseeker 2860 was pre-wired for a fan behind the vent trim but not connected to power. I remove the exterior frig access door and then removed a flimsy panel just inside and above; only 2 screws. I found the purple and white wire cutoff and hanging that matched the colors to my bedroom vent and wired it to a set of 12volt leads that I found in the same area. It was a tight space and there must have been a dozen wire leads connected in that area. Works great now!

There will be a drain on the battery for the receiver when using a remote. I installed a wired switch unit.
