Privacy curtain in cab area of Forester 3051
Can you please tell me what the privacy curtain looks like for the cab area in the 3051? I need to know if we need to buy something for the Windows in the cab area for privacy. What do most people use so the people can not see in through the front door windows or through the windshield. Thanks!

Look and see if there are some "velcro" type attachment "dots" inside the cab area, the upper perimiter, above the sunvisors and above the side windows. They will be about an inch in diameter.
If their there, there attachment points for a curtin that will have the "fuzzy" part of velcro sewn to the edge. The curtin attaches and surronds the inside of the cab closing off the view inside.
If their there it also means that you should have received the curtin with the rig. If not, check with the dealer to see if it was or wasen't supposed to be included.

The curtain that FR supplies is just a large, usually tan, piece of hemmed cloth. It will be around six foot across and three to four feet high depending on your model. One long edge will have female Velcro sewn on to connect to the Velcro dots FR installs along the cab front.
I use other covers along with the FR privacy curtain. Adco makes the a nice white vinyl external cover that covers the windshield and side windows. I also use it when I'm storing our RV to keep the sun off the dash and out of the coach. The part is SKU: 256410074. You can see a picture of it Here.
High End Motorsports sells a nice set of internal reflective covers you can see Here.
I've used both products and both are well made, quality products.

We have the Magne Shade for our windshield and doors [url=http://www.magneshade.com/]
This makes it next to impossible to see inside; however, we are able to see out. At night we used the cab privacy curtain in addition to it.

Thanks for your replies. I found the privacy curtain. I will also check out the other suggestions to use in addition.

Best thing IMO, is a custom fit interior sunshade that fits up against the windshield on the interior. No loss of interior space and no worry about weather/rain when installing it.

Wish I would have known this! Bought the white ADCO cover close to a month ago. However, it is well worth it!

I bought the Adco cover for my Solera. What I realized is that the magnets they use that hold down the corners of the cover to the side doors will damage and scratch your paint job. The wind picked up strong while my cover was on and ruined my black gloss paint.

We also just picked up our 3051 and need to get something for the front and side windows. I know I want something for the inside as opposed to the outside because if I hear something or want to see out, I want to be able to move it. One of our chairs turn around and I would like to be able to use that space at night.

We have a FR SS 3170, we didn't like the curtin and went to High End Motorsports for the reflective panels. Great product, perfect fit and still gives access to the cab area.
Follow the link in previous post.

Take a look, this is a great product, privacy and reflective to keep your rig cooler. This for Ford products, others available I believe.

They are just about a perfect fit to the windows. The sides have a number of suction cups that adhere to the window from the inside. The front window screen fits snuggly to the window and the mirror and sun visors (folded down), holds it in place.

If you're talking about the ADCO cover, yes, it can be ordered. Click on the link.
