Propane regulator 3011DS

Hello the propane regulator on my 3011ds is hissing from the weep hole. Can I replace it with a similar regulator or do I need the exact same one.
Thank you for any help/advice. I posted same question in the propane thread but hoping for more people to see it.

Once you get the regulator off you should be able to find the manufacturer name and model number. Once you get that info I bet you’ll find an exact replacement on Amazonor Walmart.

Any two stage regulator will work. Many are rater for vertical or horizontal mounting. You need horizontal, the only difference between them is the position of the vent.

On the one you have you will see the vent is pointing down, that is the correct orientation. You most likely will either need to reuse the POL fitting to the tank or purchase one separately.

FYI the POL fitting that goes on to the tank valve is a left hand thread.
