Joshua, I don't have the vin. The dealer said they won't have anything until it comes of assembly going to paint? Is it too early to contact Jeremy the area rep here on the west coast to see if he can get it? It's only 3 weeks.

Joshua. Looking for satellite hookup on my roof and don't see it. Are all Forester pre-wired for satellite ? Are there anchor points also? Mine is a 2014 2451s.

Sage, It is a little early to get a estimated date. We are about 12 weeks out with paint. Right now you're looking at early to mid September.

We didn't start doing the pre-wire until this year. If there is a middle coax on the cable plate then there it is pre-wired for Satellite. If there is no middle coax then it is not prewired for satellite.

If it is prewired for satellite then the pre-wire coax should be in a small white box on the roof. Sometimes they get covered in caulk and you don't see them.

Thanks Joshua. Then at 12 weeks, it would be around Labor Day. Adding another 2 weeks delivery to the dealer and maybe another few days getting it ready for delivery. So maybe the week of September 21st. OK, thanks.
So who would I get the vin from for future tracking?

If you wait a few weeks then get back with me we will see where it is.

Remember those dates are just an ESTIMATE.

Getting the 2015 with 5 speed or 2016 with 6 speed trams?

I know it's just under 2 weeks since your post Joshua, but any chance of getting info on the chassis year and approximate week of delivery for my Forester 2701DS? Ordered June 12, 2015.
I have an interested buyer for my 2004 Winnebago Minnie and we have trips planned for late summer and fall. We don't want to be without a MH. The interested buyer can hold off a while.

Sagecoachdriver....from an earlier post by Joshua...2016 units will start with products on line 7-17-15. Since you ordered yours in June it most likely will be a 2016....lucky you

That's a vague estimate 😆 i should not have given a date. That was a mistake for not clarifying that in the last post.

Nothing is written in stone!

Joshua, I know it was vague. Everything ordered is a guess on time.
No one has any details yet. Dealer said mid to late August. I am not expecting it until around the week of September 21. Thus allowing 12 weeks to build, 2weeks to ship and 5 days to dealer prep.
I have a potential buyer and I hope they can wait that long. We may have to cancel some trips in late August or early September to accommodate them and sell our Winnie before we take delivery of our Forester.
