Joshua, I know you were.
Called my dealer about the progress and hopefully a better estimation date of building. He was going to check with area rep. No answer yet.

I'm in the same waiting mode you are Sagecoachdriver. I ordered my 3011 on June 6th. Since that was a Saturday I figured actual order was done on Monday the 8th. I was told mid / late August. My dealer is having problems trying to verify from the factory when my unit comes on-line for the build and if it will be the 2016 chassis. I told dealer I will wait longer for the 2016 chassis if needed.

VWexpert, I was originally told the same time frame. Call into my dealer and he's checking. I don't think we are going to actually get it until 3rd week in September. Just a hunch. Hope they surprise me!

Have our current MH sold, awaiting ordered one

Looks like I have our: 2004 Winnebago Minnie 22E sold. They are willing to accommodate us and wait until our Forester is delivered in September. Lucky us happy campers!

Any knowledge as to what the 16 chassis offers over the 15?

The 2016 chassis has the full six speed transmission with better torque converter lock up and better gear ratios - hopefully with better driveability and fuel economy. It is also nice to have a 2016 coach with a 2016 chassis.

VWexpert. isn't there a topic on the forum that has the difference posted between 2015 and 2016 gear ratios? I recall something I read and there wasn't much difference in the highest gear. Seemed it would make a difference off the line and getting to cruise speed. Fewer rpm's thus better mpg accelerating.

Yes there was a thread earlier about the differences. There are also you-tube videos out there that explain why the six speed is better.
