Radio

I have bought a 2014, 2251SLE on a Chev chassis. The dash radio is one with a video screen, no camera or GPS is connected, but options are available for the connection. I doesn't seem to be a chev radio according to the chassis owners manual. There is no manual available in the rig for the radio, just wondering if anyone has the unit make & model, or was it installed by the PO?

You've either got a Jensen or Magnadyne. Doesn't it have a name on it? If not, post a picture.

There are manuals online for either choice.

When you turn it on and it boots up, it must have a welcome type screen display for a few seconds. Does it say Jensen, or Magnadyne? Further into it, there must be a menu item for system info or something like that. I don't have the RV at home right now to do mine.

My 2014 came with the Jensen. The main silver knob, on the left of the screen, has a glowing red ring around it when either the engine is on, or the coach battery switch is on. Then when you push that button to turn the radio on, the ring glows green. If the ring is green, the radio is on. Even if you have muted it and blanked the screen with a short push on the knob. Long press to turn it off (red).

Is yours like that?

Glad you found it. I think they switched to Jensen in mid 2014 model year.
You can download a manual for it.

My 2016 Jenson has a GPS.
Not very easy to use or read but it's there.
I just connected a dash mounted screen for the add on back up camera.

This thing sounds like an old computer with a cheap fan ! Are the fans on all of these so loud, or do I just need to pull it and see why mine is so loud ?
