Radio under outdoor tv in 3051s

In our inaugural trip and trying out every thing. Tried the radio under the tv in the outdoor area. I get the radio on and tuned into a station. The little equalizer on the screen is piping up and down as well. However, we are not getting any volume at all, even when we turn it up to 48. What are we missing?

The Radio manual did not help? I do not have my 3051SS yet or I'd check out mine or pull out my manual and look at it for you.

Unfortunately the radio manual assumes that the speakers work when the radio is on.

The only thing I can think of is a missed connection, maybe to the speakers? Have you tried other sources? You can play a DVD or CD or set it so that the TV comes out through the stereo and therefore through those speakers.

You have to set the TV speakers to off and the output to fixed and then you can try that source but the easiest thing would be to put in a CD to at least test it with another source.

The next step may be take it to the dealer or if you open up the panel you could check how it's hooked up. Everything should be directly behind the panel that the speakers are attached to.

So far mine has worked on all sources we have tried. I'm thinking your speakers may not be connected since you see power on the stereo but get no sound.

Is there a speaker switch to designate which speakers you want sound coming out of? My trailer has A,B and C switches to turn on inside and outside speakers.

On the 3051 the inside and outside speakers are completely independent of each other. The outside tv has its own radio/speaker set up.

Radio under tv

What I experienced was sound coming out of tv was almost non audible. So I when inside my sink is opposite the radio inside and pulled a panel out and there were the radio connections and I plugged the output from tv to aux input on radio its awesome very loud. My point is the connections are all there including speakers if you can easily get to back of radio don't wait on dealer.
