I was more thinking of getting away from the manifold box in my suggestion - if that is possible, meaning the remote electronics are not within the manifold.
Try searching for 12 volt pneumatic solenoid. I found several on Amazon but this one here states for air horns and air bags:Amazon.com: ELECTRIC AIR VALVE SOLENOID 12v/24v SOLID STATE-NO Plastic-PERFECT for Air Horns, Air Suspension, Air Tools: Automotive

Man, I like your thinking but it is above my understanding. I don't understand how it would work without a manifold. If you give it a shot, I'd appreciate an update.

LOL. I will likely go with the WirelessAir (Model 72000) since I can use it for up to four bags (if I end up installing them on the front coil springs).
When I get the unit I will investigate to see if there are ways "upgrade" the solenoid.

It has a "new and improved" manifold in the wireless air system now. I think the moisture in our air down causes rust inside the solenoid. Good luck with your bags. Your gonna like. Easy install.

I believe that is the secret - keep the air dry. I need to find a good location to mount both the compressor and the solenoid so it is out of the elements as much as possible.

Thanks for the input!

You should plumb a air drier between the compressor and the valves or tank. I have one in my setup and it does get water in it

Thanks for the suggestion.
I thought of it especially since I won't be using a air tank to act as a accumulator.

I'm still thinking about making it easier to keep my DS 2860 bags at the pressure I want. The wireless systems are appealing but so many have module trouble and I hate things not working right. So I'm thinking of doing something with KISS in mind. A few 1/4" T's, small manual control air compressor, separate control of the bags, air gauge on each bag and I think retaining the Schrader valves. and everything adjustable from one side. I like Clutchd system but I don't need something that fancy for now at least.

I thought about putting a push on Schrader connector to 1/4 pipe thread. but mixed reviews on Amazon with leaking

I also read somewhere that one should put a liquid I can't remember LOL into each bag to prevent any water from freezing. I should have written some of this out when I saw it.

So question is has anyone done a bare bone setup like above with some pics or links to items that have worked out great would be appreciated

Thanks
Ron

I put in the cheap air lift pump with the 5 psi switch, it is in a box I made and mounted to the frame rail, I have the gauge and switch mounted inside the cab for on the fly filling and deflating

I have my Air Lift Wireless Air system but I haven't installed it yet. Wish it was but been too busy with other projects or we are out using the coach.
Everytime out I have to adjust my air bag pressures back up.
I think the success of the system has to do with how you install it (compressor installed in a dry location and a moisture filter/separator installed after the compressor).

Yea, been busy and put it on back burner.. just tired of having to keep checking it, and unloading both compartments to get to the valve. I just want something simple for now so that I don't have to do that and get out the compressor etc. getting lazy in my old age LOL
