The dinette floor is deeper than a sofa floor. So the sofa either needs to sit ON the slide floor against the wall (a regular height sofa) which means your feet will sit ON the slide floor not the main floor. Or if you use a slide floor style sofa (sofa legs are short, the front kick plate covers the edge of the slide floor your feet sit on the main floor) it will create a gap behind the sofa as it has to get to the edge of the slide floor.
