It's only an extra $150 to $250 depending on trailer. Cheap insurance for major failure of the big mechanical items. I got it

Here is a previous discussion on the subject that may help. I think the biggest complaint was the yearly maintenance that you must have performed (at your cost) by a dealer in order to keep the warranty in force.

It's pretty cheap considering what it covers for another year. We got it too when we got our 5er.

Wiscampsin and rmac04401, are you talking about the actual RV Warranty Forever program, or the second year Forest River, Inc warranty? The pricing you state, as well as the second year terminology seem to be indications for the second year warranty coverage thru Forest River.

These are not the same thing, as the Warranty Forever is a third party program offered by dealers and not Forest River.

Rv warranty forever is an aftermarket warranty that is dealer provided. It will require yearly service from a dealer (ie you can't service your own bearings yearly and still be covered). We went with the basic rv warranty forever that the dealer included free and bought the Forest River 2nd year factory warranty for $150.

Forever Warranty

I am talking about the RV Forever Warranty from the dealer where you have to bring it in to a dealer every year and pay between $200-275.

Perhaps a mod could move this to one of the other forums. It doesn't seem to apply to this forum's topic - Forester Class C Motorhomes.

Actually the OP's question does apply here, as the RV Forever Warranty applies to towables and motorhomes. It's all the misdirected talk about Forest River's second year warranty that does NOT apply here.

The site team may need to delete every off-topic post pertaining to the second year warranty, including the quoted one above in order to get this thread back on topic.
