John,

Mine is a lower end trailer so some options not available. I have a local trailer guy (Mike's RV outside of Grand Rapids, MN) that could do it, though he is not a dealer. I think I need to call FR and ask if the roof in that area is capable and if my coach is still covered for a roof mod by a professional such as Mike's. Hopefully I do not have to go all the way down to the dealer in the Cities to have it done for a skylight install.

Definitely worth doing your homework with FR first. Not sure where they'd stand in regards to roof warranty. I'm sure if they did it, it wouldn't be an issue, but that'd be a drive. I'm probably a little too confident in some parts of an RV, as we've voided many a frame warranty and probably some other warranties with mods we've done. I guess I figured if it broke, I'd end up fixing it myself anyway. I know FR will approve work at many places, so it'd be worth checking it out. If you decide to have it installed, I'd love to see some pictures.

At least in Heaven, RVs will be perfect, and I won't have to keep fixing them.
