Just had front and back replaced on my 2014 3051s. Dealer did an outstanding job and wholesale warranties along with Jeff from Wholesale took care of everything promptly. My slide seals properly now. Same problem lower gear with messed up teeth. CJ at barryland handled service perfectly! I know these guys get a lot of bad rap sometimes but this was my first trip to the dealer and my first warranty claim.

I'm a little concerned about this myself. I have two slide and on the main slide I here a noise sometimes like the gears maybe slipping a popping noise. I have some other warranty work that needs to be done and this is on the list.

Did the dealer give any idea of what caused the gear mess? Do you know how it was repaired ( do they have to remove slide)?

Sorry for the delay. You cant get alot of information but did get to see the old slides on the ground. The trim piece on my full body paint is white but you only see that when slide is out. Works like a charm anyway just think something may have been wrong from the factory

June 19th,2015, took MH into dealer today for the slide gear tower replacement and to replace the skylight they destroyed, Service guy said they are going to put best repairman on job and should have done in a week. Lets see how they do , been waiting since Sept 2014 for this to be completed.

I'm certain FR would come to the table to repair the slide if the problem was within the 12-months of ownership but for those of us affected outside the warranty it will be left up to our own resources to have it repaired! Hence my ESP with WW!

Good luck on their 'best repairman.' Hope he isn't like ours who put the Fantastic vents on backwards!! Seriously, this has been a nightmare for you and really hope it gets rectified!

Hey Boso and Ourflat I am well out of my one year, but FR is footing the bill for the repair, I have to give a big hats off to them for that. This isn't the first problem I have had with the slide and it has been all been recorded with the factory. I also have extended warranty just in case this happens again , (Lord I hope not!!!) but it may not be covered in the FINE PRINT.

I wouldn't think slide motors rail teeth or rollers would be considered linkage that's where the problems lie imo

Just reread the warranty pamphlet and it states slide drive mechanical assembly is covered
