Spare Tire

Have a 2016 Forest River Forester. Looking for a good spare tire mount or attaching device. Thanks

Without knowing what model you have I can't be specific in a suggestion, but I will tell you what I know about the spare on my 2017 2861 model.

Mine came with a spare mounted underneath to the frame just forward of the rear bumper. I know it will be a struggle to get it out if we ever need it, but at least it is there and it is out of the way. Have you checked underneath to see if there is a mounting point for a spare?

I would be shocked if there isn't a mount already built in to the undercarriage of your coach. I've never seen one without.

As for getting the spare in and out, we have already had a flat. I called AAA, which we pay a little extra for RV coverage. I would highly recommend this as there was no way that I could've done this on my own. They came to my location and changed the tire at no charge
