Storage behind 42" TV in 3051?

Is there storage behind the big TV in the entertainment center in the 3051? Can't find a latch and wouldn't yank, it's not ours yet.

Sales could not say and mechanics were gone go the day.

Yup...love the storage along side the TV. Wondering if we can get behind it for DVD storage?

We used to have the TV on gas struts but then the TV's got too big.

So while there is no designed storage for behind there...there is nothing but space back there.

At what size were the TV's when Gas struts were used

Are there any "old" drawings showing the Gas Strut design that are available that one might use to modify a unit no long in Warranty to take advantage of that design?

Thanks

I'm thinking that loosening a few (visible) screws and installing a piano hinge at the top of the panel, a rubber footed prop rod or two and cabinet lock would give me the access/storage I'm looking for. Hmmmm ...

TV's were 26 or 30". We mounted the TV to a top hinging door and put a gas strut on either side. We're working on a bracket now for the 3010 that will hinge the door...but it only fits a 32" TV.

Mr. Clemens

Would it be possible to post a picture when available? I have a 32" TV in a 2651S and would love to incorporate your new design

The front hinged Ent ctr was an old design. 6-7 years ago so unfortunately I have no pictures.
