Suggestions for U-shaped Dinette Cushions
Any suggestions for keeping cushions on a U-Shaped dinette in place while sleeping? Especially the small one. Ours keep sliding off. Turning them all around to put small cushion against wall is a pain.

Turning them around is really the only way. And even that does not completely solve the issue.
I got some nylon straps that I am going to attach to the wood of the seats that will create a sling of sorts to hold it all together. Then I put a topper on.
I think this will work but I haven't got it installed yet. I'll report back if it is a success.

we took a couple of tie down straps something like these and put around the cushions. then put a blanket down to act as a mattress pad. then put the sheets on. has worked great. even had 2 adults sleeping on the bed without issue. Never tried, but would a sheet work? If it was a big enough sheet with lots of over hang, and then the over hang was tucked in far enough under the cushions, in theory your body weight would be enough to keep them pressed firmly down on the sheet (the part tucked under), preventing them from being able to seperate or fall off. Or if there is enough sheet that each edge could touch the other edge, you might be able to fasten the sheet to itself (velcro or snaps or something). Lots of theories are brilliant until you try it, so just a thought

The small U has been redesigned to eliminate this smaller cushion. I'm still working on the large U-shape. That one has not been as accommodating.

We fixed the issue with memory foam to fit and a fitted sheet, you may have to cut the foam to fit.

Thanks for the ideas. I decided to try the strap approach. Had a couple I cut off an old RV cover. Has a nice snap latch and just chinch it up. Holds the table in place too.
Off to the beach for a week, will see if this works and how much my daughter complains.

Has anyone tried putting the no slip stuff you use with dishes under the cushions? That is what we use in our current motor home. I wish they would make them with that already on the back of the cushions. Hint, hint

Had to laugh.
Over spring break, we had company, and that put me on the dinette for the first time. I woke at 3am when I slid to the floor in a crash. Not only will the cushions slide, but the whole table does. I'm looking forward to hearing solutions.

Suggestions for U-shaped Dinette Cushions
Just back from a 10 day spring break trip. Slept on the dinette all week and the straps shown in the picture above worked great. Easy to use and didn't feel them thru the sheets. Also kept the table in place.
We tried non-slip but that didn't work at all. Turning cushions around helps but was a hassle and didn't completely solve the cushions moving.

Where does the strap go at the rear cushion?

. Just attached strap with a 1" drywall screw under plywood so I could open it.
. I just used the existing screw on the other end.
Strap is long enough to hold table and cushions in place. Just snap in and tighten. Works great and used leftover straps from old RV cover.
