table at dinette area

just bought a 2401C Forest River Mercedes MH. The dinette table sits too far away from the rear bench and on the post is too high. How can we correct that??

Welcome to the forum. As far as the height issue most RV dealers either carry, or can order, the post in 2 inch increments to customize the height. Or your dealer should be able to cut down the existing one.

Regarding the distance from the rear bench if the post isn't centered on the table bottom try reversing the table. If reversing won't work you may be able to move the "cup", on the table bottom, to adjust the tables distance from the bench.
