Terrible SQUEEEEEEK repaired!

My 6 month old MBS W developed a very loud creaking - squeaking sound right behind the drivers head. Even earplugs did not block it out (turn up the radio!) It was coming from the top front corner area of the slide. Really sounded like wood creaking but turned out that was not the case. After reading something related on this forum (thank you whoever you are!), I sprayed a light coat of silicone lubricant on the slides rubber seals and mating area where they touch the body. It cured the problem, YIPEEE!

You know, I never thought about it before but trailers may have all kinds of creeks and squeaks and rattles but the owner would never know.....

Same here. I sprayed silicon dry lubricant on my slide seals particularly on the front portion behind drivers seat and no more squeaking.
