Third battery.

I have a 2251 on the Chev chassis. Under the chassis about even with the driver's seat is a battery. If I had to guess, it is dedicated to the generator. The RV dealer has no idea what it's for. Called a couple of Chev dealerships and they were stumped. I was hoping someone here would know. Thanks. Jerry,

Have you tried following the leads to see what it is connected to? or disconnecting the leads and see what doesn't work?

No, just curious if another 2251 owner might know the answer since Chev and dealer have no clue. I'm too old to try to crawl around underneath there.

if i remember right on my chevy chasiss its a battery for the electric jacks

Jerry in my 2017, the extra battery under the chassis is included with the chassis. It is supposed to be utilized by the upfitter for additional loads. In my case, it is was unused, and therefore I have disconnected and removed it.
