topper on wall slide for forester 3051sf

Has anyone had problems with topper for wall slide with forester 3051sf sagging in middle and holding water? Does your topper sit down completely in the middle cradle when extended? On other wall slide toppers with different brands, it looks like the middle cradle has hook over topper to hold in place and some have something on inner side to help keep topper tight.

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. Many folks have had that problem. Try the search function at the upper right of the page there are many articles about slide toppers.

Some people will put a beach ball under the middle of the topper.

And I've seen a few crafty people that will make a brace out of PVC plumbing pipes to hold them up from rain and snow.

Personally, I don't like toppers as I live out in the wild wild west where the wind is not their friends.
