I have never camped at Faria. Don't really know the lay of the land- I do know it's tight though. You could pull off at free Rincon day parking and unhook. That is where we stay for the day waiting for our site to open up in Ventura RV when we go there. Unload the bicycles and do a coast run while we wait. Then have lunch.
As far as the toad- for you, I would just have the wife drive up separately.
It's close and easy. No need to go through all the hookup stuff and have another vehicle just for local trips.
I use my Toyota for off roading and race chasing so I need it sometimes.
Me, I am downsizing my motorcycle to a smaller/lighter one so I can use it as a grocery getter when I don't need a toad.
I have been looking at the Overland and Trailhawk editions with the 5.7 hemi, I can find them for under $45k. Although, for the 2018 model they will build them with the 707hp Hellcat motor!
