We travel with our hose disconnected and stowed with the 3 inch plug installed in the outlet.

We purchased the camlock to bayonet adapter before the 2017 Goshen rally. It was recommended equipment because the pump-out truck might not have a camlock equipped hose to empty our tanks mid-week.
We also purchased a 3" male to 2" female camlock reducer so our local porta-jon company could empty the tanks while the rv was in use for 3 months at a house with no sewer connection.
The camlock connections are a great thing. We used them where I worked at a chemical plant for every hose connection possible.

where are you sourcing the 3inch test plug/cap? that might be the solution i need to switch over to this system.

there is also a new box design for a TT like i have. just not sure how it would work with the enclosed underbelly of my unit. if i could get this to work, this is the route id be going.

Did any of you buy the super expensive extension? 18 feet seems long but you never know. Maybe I should buy the bayonet adapter and a rhino hose extension just in case? Coach outlet to bayonet to rhino to another bayonet adapter to the regular hose?

Jeez that’d be a real hack job !

Adapter from Rino hose to bayo would be almost as much as the extension as you would also need the double female to connect the second adapter to the hose.

I negotiated a great deal on a damaged box extension at last years Goshen Rally. From Lippert on the final day.
I did need it once so far, of course that was a few months before I bought it!!

You're right. I really like the system in concept based on what I've read and watched on YouTube. I've yet to use it yet, but heck the 'accessories' for it are EXPENSIVE !

Yes they are. I definitely would carry a cam lock to bayo adapter in case of hose faiure or the need for a pump out. The sytem does preform very well no complaints at all. Pick up a 3” at your local Home Depot $5 to seal the male end when in storage. Or you can get the exact part from lippert for 5x more!

I thought I had all the adapters covered until we loaned our Forester to our sister-in-law after Hurricane Irma flooded her house. We set up a weekly pump-out during the 3 months it took to fix her house.
Depending on which truck came the choices were 2 inch male or female camlock. I ended up adding a 3 inch male to 2 inch male and female camlock to my collection. Otherwise the driver dumped the tanks into a 5 gallon pail while sucking it out with his hose. Very messy!

Waste Master Hose - Refuses to stretch!

We are at Ft. Wilderness trying to hook up our factory Waste Master hose for the first time. It has never been used but it is about one year old (we purchased our 2018 RV that came stock with the hose just as the 2019s are coming on the market).

Anyway, I got the hose out for the trial run here at Disney FW and the waste pipe is about 10ft from the RV. Well, the hose refuses to stretch....at all. When I try to stretch it, it springs back with great force to its original shape. If I attempt to stretch it more, it collapses flat as a pancake. At that point it doesn’t go back to its original length until I squeeze it back round again. I feel like I am in a candid camera TV show segment.

I suspect that since it hasn’t been used for a year, that it has taken a “set” and will never stretch now. Very frustrating and we are stuck because nothing else fits their proprietary fitting. I called LCI customer service and they told me to try putting in the sun for a day. Hello....it is Orlando Florida in the middle of summer, not Minnesota in winter. “Warmth” is not the problem. Not happy at all.

The clue is when you said it colapsed. The solution is open the valve on the nozzle. Handle should point up! You can close it after you stretch the hose.

The valve on the end of the hose has a airtight seal when closed.

Awesome! Thank you so much! I also found an orange plug in the end of the hose that would have been a real problem had I not removed it. Thank you so much for the reply! You are appreciated!

Good information to have here...... But I needed it last week while dumping at a national park cg. Long story short, I had the no stretch experience too. Figured the closed valve issue out on my on but felt stupid anyway. Then, pulled the black handle and . . . .Nothing! Tried gray tank. Nope. After a few minutes of being glad is was drizzling rain and my wife stayed in the cab, I figured there must be a blockage at the gate valve. Slowly released the waste master buckles and ...... Yep, about a quart or two of black (brown) tank contents eased out. Thanking God for latex gloves.
So I poked around in the opening with a wire fly swat. No blockage. So I start to lift the hose end again to look inside it. Big orange plastic plug firmly planted deep in the hose connector.
Looked up to make sure wife wasn't watching. Pulled the plug, connected, pulled the black handle, swooshhh!
Clean up my mess (pun intended) and sanitize everything then get in the truck smelling like Lysol. Wife says, I thought you'd be quicker in the rain. Me? I just said, felt good. Nice and cool on a hot day. [emoji41]

Nice recovery. They really need a tab on the red plug so you can’t connect with it in. I still use mine for storage.

Exactly what I was thinking. Or at least you would see it. It certainly seals the hose and I guess makes for easier shipping/handling as the vacuum holds the hose at it's shortest length.
