Water Filter Replacement?

I have no paperwork as to which filter/size/etc. will fit the factory installed water filter opening. Looks like a few brands "may" fit but unsure which is an exact fit. I disposed of the dirty filter this past fall and should have noted the size/brand.

Can someone comment on which filter works in the factory holder?

Any hardware store carries the water filter
The whole house filter assy they carry is the same that's in your camper

I am in the same boat. The whole house filter in my house is much larger than the filter in my camper though. I found a 10" on Amazon that looked the same. I might just try that one.

They are a standard "size", it's the microns that vary.

You'll find a wide degree of differing opinion on what micron size to use, this is what really determines the quality of the filtering. I'm good about knowing where my water is coming from, so I generally use one that isn't as "tight" as other might use.
Keep in mind that this will affect water pressure, as the filter produces a pressure drop. A filter for a house on city water can have 100+ PSI pressure pushing the water through, though generally, hosehold pressurre is regulated to 50+/-PSI. The little pumps in an RV push nowhere near that kind of pressure.

My water filter is a Water Pur CCI-10-CLW clear Water Filter Housing and uses a CCI-10-C filter. Everything in standard 10" length will work in the housing. It needs to have holes in the bottom and top to fit in the housing.

I'm replacing the original 4008 Surflow which is noisy and runs every 10-15 minutes (no leaks) with a new revolution wich is rated at 55 psi so I hope to have a little better shower pressure with the filter..

I bought two at Menards, they include the charcoal for filtering.
