Water tank drain ?
Next to the tank blue drain hose there is a red hose that has a cap screwed on the end. They run side by side and out the floor next to the water pump. Can't figure what it's for. 2014 forester 3011ds.
Thanks

Most likely those are your low point drains. Used to drain the water out of the piping in the RV. I typically drain my system anytime it is going to sit for more than a few days.

Sounds like you may have the same set up as my unit. Blue is tank drain and red is low point drain (hot and cold). When the wh bypass is set for winterizing, both the hot and cold lines are tied together and therefore only one low point drain is required. If this is your set up both of those (re/blue) lines should have removal caps/plugs.

Appreciate the help

Normally you have a blue and a red line sticking out with caps on them. Both are low point drains, red for hot and blue for cold and a valve to drain the fw tank.

As I said, I have a blue with cap, a red with cap and a valve to drain the tank.
1 valve and 2 caps.

My Wildcat has 1 blue with cap to drain FW tank... 1 red with cap low point hot drain... 1 blue with cap low point cold drain. I should install a valve on the FW drain if not all 3.

On my Sunseeker, the capped red line is the low point drain. The blue line without a cap has a valve and it's the fresh water tank drain.
