Waterpur Filter

New to RVing and just bought a new Forester. Where does the Waterpur filter go? How often should I change filters? Thanks.

Depending on your model, filter housing may be beside your water pump. I change my main filter once a year. Here's the place I get my replacements WaterPur Filters

His unit takes the CCI-10-Ca filter, not the KW1. I personally like the CCI-10-Ca and have zero complaints with flow or water quality.

When I got my MH there must have been a very low micron/low flow filter in it. When I was using the water pump the tap pressure would surge because the pump was cycling on /off.This only happened on pump , city water connection worked fine. I removed the on board filter and the pump worked properly.I checked the flow rate of the pump and it was putting out proper rate. Now I just use a inline filter now and everything is good.

I change my filter out twice a year and keep a spare in stock just like I would do on my 2000 Fleetwood Tiago Arrow. Don't forget to check the RV water pump see through screen once in awhile to ensure no contaminants are restricting your flow while using the onboard water pump. I often find the strangest things in that pump filter!
