Congratulations. I'm sure that you will enjoy it. I wish that mine had the passenger swivel seat or rather, my wife does.

Cool! Congrats .. I got the 3010 and went for a couple more options. I went for the drivers swivel seat as well (maybe a bit more than needed). In any case, I'm curious about the rear head board window removed. I didn't know that was possible, except I saw bclemens mention that somewhere. I started thinking that it might be hard to lean up against the window, especially if the shades were drawn. That would be my reason for maybe not wanting a the window there. I'm curious about your reasoning ?
thanks,

we wanted a headboard when we read in bed. A lot of light comes in with two windows
back there.

I have the rear bedroom window, and wish we went w/ the headboard. I like to watch TV in the morning and have coffee, and I end up putting the shade up so I don't bend it. Like Phelpo said, there is plenty of natural light w/ the other windows.

Phelpo was this a option to delete the window when you ordered? What was the process to get the window deleted? If I understand correctly they will put a headboard in place of the window correct? DW and I are getting ready to order a 3011DS and probably want to do the same.

we ordered a 3011ds
it was really really hard............I just asked them if they could take
out the window over the head of the bed? They said yes, I'm going
to do my own head board. I just asked if add'l cabinets could
be placed over the bed, I'll let you know.

Brian, I am close to pulling the trigger on ordering a 3011DS. Got the ok from the factory to remove the window over the head end of the bed.
During the build process do they cut the holes for the windows from a basically blank slide depending on what model they are working with?
Or do they work with a slide that already had the windows installed and remove this window and patch the hole?
Hoping and believe it will be the the first choice. Could you please explain the process. Thanks in advance. Will you be attending any of the upcoming RV shows in Louisiana in the next couple of months?

We build everything ourselves. So they frame in for the window, laminate everything together in one piece and then route the window out. We simply won't cut your window out.
We don't patch anything. Takes too long.
