Weber Q grill

If I were to attach my weber grill to the outside quick connect, would I need to remove the regulator or is the quick connect attached before the regulator on the camper. Like my weber better than the grill that came with the camper.

I believe you would need to remove the regulator to get the proper gas pressure to the grill. That one reason I haven't done it yet.

In a long posting about this subject, it was determined you can't regulate the gas twice.. One of the regulators has to go in order to get enough pressure.

The solution is to purchase an adapter hose with quick disconnect fittings that will allow you to remove the Q regulator and still connect to the outboard gas connection. It is from Calore Equip. Co. I just ordered mine and it works fine!

Was Camping last summer and someone had the Webber hook up to the quick connect
Ask him and saw it working he had both regulator on
( all he did was get a fitting for the Webber to attach the quick connect half of the quick connect) going to try it on mine when it warms up
