Weighed the 2401R MBS today
Very eye opening - came in at 10500 vs GVWR of 11030, meaning we have 530# capacity left. That will have to cover the DW, dog, his kennel and food, human food, beverages, clothing, coats, shoes and hiking boots, 75' more electric cord, ~5 gal. water for roadside use, maybe a few more things. There might be a few pounds of leveling blocks that can come out, but we will be close! (Weight today includes full fuel & LPG, no water but lines full of antifreeze, 1 human.)
Anyone else come in close on the limit?

My Prism on MBS also has a rating of 11030. Weighed ours just when we started the big trip. Full fuel, full water, (empty waste tanks) 2 humans, 2 mutts, 10 gallons of extra water, gear, clothes, extra solar panels, and more. came in at 10,960

No surprise to me... I weighed our "W" with a full tank of diesel, all our "stuff", food, but no fresh water, empty grey and black tanks, and came in at 11,040 pounds on the local CAT Scale... It is a good thing we don't plan on boon docking!
I've since cleaned out some "stuff" and moved some other heavy items, like tools, to our toad to loose a bit more weight off the "W".

And don't Supersize those burgers along the way, either! :rollback:
We are toad-free at this point, but that's a good option for those who are toad-ing.

Wow, within 70#. Well, that's 360# of water you were carrying, so you had plenty of wiggle room there.
