Weight for bunk bed over cab

Hi
I cannot find any information on how much weight the overhead bunk in the 3011 DS can support. Does anyone know exactly how much weight the bunk can support?
thanx
Pat

My 2011 coachmen freelander 27qb has a sticker that says 350lbs

Might need to ask the manufacturer

Posted by Brian with explanation.

[QUOTE=bclemens; Yes, the "official" rating is 300 lbs. Here's the thing. That is a one piece side wall. We use 1 1/2" aluminum tubing to frame the wall (most of our competitors use 1"). We then laminate fiberglass (exterior), Azdel Composite (under that) and Vinyl covered lauan (on the inside of the wall). That is all glued together and vacuum laminated. The bottom would fall out before the side cracks...at least then you land on the roof of the cab.[/QUOTE]

Weight for bunk bed over cab

I say that DW and have slept in the cab over bunk for 5 nights with a total human weight of 380lbs. Add bedding (2"foam topper) and other junk in the storage, I feel safe stating 440lbs. No sag, no squeaks.
