Weight Limit - Overhead Cabin

Hello Friends,

I can't seem to find a factual answer on weight capacity for the sleeping quarters over the driver/passenger seats in the Forester Class C Motorhome. Anyone have any information to share?

Thank you!

Thank you! I've heard 300-350 and hoping we can get a true answer. I appreciate your feedback and hope Josh can help us! I'm new to the group, thank you!

I believe it was in with the paperwork we got from the dealer.

Oh, good to know! I can't seem to locate it, but to be honest, my brain is a little numb with all the paperwork! LOL I will ask the girls to sleep on the bunk beds until we get a confirmation! Happy Memorials Day!

If they are under 300 together, I would not worry.

Yes, combined they are about 240...so thinking we're okay! But it's an open question I've had since last summer when we bought it and I can't seem to get a manufacturer answer 😀 Thank you for the feedback, much appreciated!

Okay, that's helpful! I don't want any strange noises! LOL It is funny because the two bunk beds show weight limits, even our bed shows a weight limit, but the overhead shows nothing. I'm sure it's hidden up there under the cushions or on a sticker in the compartments, but I haven't looked. Maybe I will ask our oldest to look around for me!

Oh and our unit is the full open cabin above, not the one with the TV and storage cabinets. It's a small studio up there! LOL Just wanted to be sure I was explaining what option we have..

Really, no kidding! This is the section over the driver and passenger compartment? It's pouring rain here in NH but I'm going to check in the am before we head out for the weekend. I'm going to look for this sticker (let's hope it's not right in front of my face) and I will share with everyone. Thanks so much for sending the picture!!

Our 2008 was around 350, but the 2017 says 440, so glad they raised it a little.

Yep, that's what mine says on my Sunseeker 3010DS, also.
I had taken a picture of it last night and was getting ready to post it, but noticed Steeljag has already posted his. Good Work!
